​Bernard Solnik

Bernard Solnik (Bernie) has been a licensed civil litigator and personal injury trial attorney for over 20 years.

​

He graduated from Duke University in 1987 and the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1992. He is also a 2018 graduate of the highly renowned Keenan Trial Institute and throughout his career has received in depth training from top personal injury attorneys. 

​

Bernie is conversationally fluent in Spanish.

​

Before opening his own practice, Bernie practiced at three of the nation’s top law firms: Shaw Pittman (now Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman), Seyfarth Shaw, and Leventhal Senter & Lerman (now Lerman Senter PLLC).​​

​

He is licensed in Maryland, Washington DC, New York, and Connecticut.  He associates with local counsel in other states when handling matters in other jurisdictions.

Bernie's past and present memberships include the Maryland Association for Justice (formerly the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association) where he serves on the Legislative Leaders Circle and the Judicial Review Committee and has served as an editor and author for the Trial Reporter magazine; the DC Trial Lawyers' Association the American Association for Justice (formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America) and its Motor Vehicle, Highway and Premises Liability Section; the American Bar Association (ABA); the Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA); the Prince George’s County Bar Association; the Montgomery County Bar Association; and the DC Bar Association.​​

 

Beyond his legal skills, Bernie prides himself on giving his clients excellent service, which includes personally returning client’s phone calls and emails promptly and taking plenty of time to listen and explain.
